Velocity2 Redundant Backup Solutions

 

Overview

The two-drive Velocity2 Redundant Backup Solutions from CMS are equiped with two disk drives in a sturdy enclosure that are configured to mirror each other. The Velocity2 solution in its RAID configuration will automatically re-build a blank drive if inserted into one of the bays, making it a perfect solution for rotating drives to off-site storage.

Easy to Use - The Velocity2 does all the backup work for you. From easy setup, to simple reminders and flexible features, the Velocity2 with BounceBack Enterprise Server software takes the headache out of backup.

Extremely Fast - Velocity2 is the fastest high capacity external storage and data backup solution available. Backup rates up to 2.6GB/minute using BounceBack Enterprise Server software.

High Capacity Storage and Backup - Don't leave your critical data vulnerable and open to disaster, save your important documents and secure them with advanced CMS backup technology.

Perfect Solution for Off-Site Backup - The Velocity2 is the ideal solution for managing and storing critical data off site when set to "SAFE" or RAID 1. Simply eject one of the drives after you have backed up and take to your off-site storage facility. Insert a replacement drive into the Velocity2 and watch the drive automatically mirror the contents of the first drive. Consider purchasing one of our protective drive carriers for safe transport to your off-site storage facility.
